Although unknown of now, sources can confirm that many X5, and X6 soldiers are still blended into the public. ==History== ===Founding=== Project Manticore was founded by [[Sandeman]]. Sandeman created Manticore after having rejected the beliefs of an Ancient [[Breeding Cult]]. ~~Not~~that ~~much~~he ~~else~~was a life-long member of. Very little is known about Manticore's founding, as most of the information is still classified as top secret. What is known is that Sandeman oversaw Manticore until the government took over the project. He made the transgenics to be immune to the pathogen/virus the cultists were bred to be immune to. ===Work=== ~~Manticores~~Manticore's work involved creating a ~~superious~~genetically ~~human~~modified ~~race of~~superior ~~warriors~~soldier. They created the [[X5 series]] and the ''~~[[Anomalies]]~~transhumans'', ~~superhumans~~mission-specific transgenic soldiers that don't look entirely human. At some point they recruited [[Donald Lydecker]], [[Elizabeth Renfro]], and others to help with the training, creation, and monitoring of their warriors. ===[['09 Escape]]=== The 2009 escape began when [[Max Guevara\|X5-452]] was caught having a seizure. Knowing what would happen to them, a group of the X5s (about 21 of them) attempted to escape, Colonel Lydecker cut them off and was forced to shoot [[Eva\|X5-766]] (Eva), the only armed X5 of the group. After watching Eva die, the other X5s were more determined to escape, 12 escaped despite Lydecker's men combing the entire area. 1 turned back at the last minute, 2 were killed, 3 were wounded and 2 were captured. Because of the escape, Manticore was forced to increase the training on all remaining X5s and any future X-series to reduce the chance of rebellion. The reeducated X-5 series was given the unit designation X-5R. The escape of 12 young X5s during 2009 forced Manticore to increase the training of all the remaining X5s and other X series that had and would be created. The X5s escaped after [[X5-452]] was caught having a seizer by a guard. Colonal Lydecker was forced to shot one the young X5s who were trying to escape. That night 3 were wounded and 2 killed once Lydecker and his men went to try and recapture the escapees. ===Searching=== The escape at the Gillette, Wyoming facility in 2009 ~~caused~~began ~~the start of a 10~~the10 year search lead by Lydecker to recover the 12 escaped [[X5~~\|X5s~~]]s. [[Zack/\|X5-599~~\|Zack~~]] who had led the escape had worked ~~maticulately~~meticulously during those 10 years to make sure that his brothers and sisters were kept safe and hidden from Manticore and Lydecker. ===Destruction=== In ~~2019~~2020, [[~~X5-452~~Max Guevara\|Max]] caused the destruction of the Seattle Manticore facility after her recapture and second escape. During the destruction, ~~all~~a large number of the transgenics escaped. This includes many X6s who's whereabouts are still unknown. Most of the [[~~Anomalies~~X-Series]] soldiers, along with ~~every~~their ~~[[Transgenic]]~~transhuman ~~that~~counterparts ~~Mantocore~~and ~~had~~even ~~created~~a ~~was~~few ~~set~~anomalies ~~free~~found freedom.
