Manticore was founded by [[Sandeman]]. Sandeman created Manticore after having rejected the beliefs of an Ancient [[Breeding Cult]]. Not much else is known about Manticore's founding. Sandeman ran Manticore until the government took over. He made the transgenics to be immune to the pathogen/virus the cultists were bred to be immune to.
