Mole is a transhuman created for desert warfare. He is able to speak the english language, unlike the other desert ops transhuman [[Max]] had met.
Mole was living in [[Terminal City]] when [[Joshua]] came around, and he wasn't too keen to let outsiders in, whether they were also [[Transgenics]] or [[Ordinaries|not]]. He also objected to allowing Max to enter.
Mole and Joshua would be sent out to bring [[Gem]] and [[Dalton]] to Terminal City, but were seen pulling them into their van by [[Seattle]] civilians. Once their van broke down, the four ran to [[Jam Pony]] where they took refuge. It was from taking refuge in Jam Pony that [[Ames White]] and his men were able to launch an attack. Mole and the others were successful in stopping the battle, and escaped to Terminal City.
