Calvin "Sketchy" Theodore is a worker at Jam Pony and a fellow friend of Max Guevara.
Background
Loose-but-loyal, Sketchy is another one of Max's messenger service pals. He's interested in bicycle stunts, girls, drinking to excess and his girlfriend Natalie, arguably in that order. Before landing his gig at Jam Pony, Sketchy enjoyed brief stints as a pet photographer and a mobile sidewalk sign. He also spent one summer hiring himself out as a paid experimental subject for the Seattle Psychiatric Institute, and his friends sometime wonder if this explains his behavior.

Sketchy gets a job working for a magazine in Season 2. His role is to gather images of escaped Transgenics. He eventually learns that two of his best friends are Transgenics when Ames White and the Conclave surround Jam Pony. He helps the Transgenics escape and remains, as far as it can be seen, in Terminal City.

Note
Sketchy's real name is Calvin Simon Theodore, a reference to the three chipmunks from Alvin and the ChipmonksChipmunks.

Possibly a reference to James Cameron, Charles H. Eglee and/or René Echevarria being fans of the show during their younger years.
