The Max/Alec shipper thought that if Dark Angel had continued for a third season, there would have been a romance between Alec and Max, and there was actually a story treatment by the show's writers to that effect (one of several). But this story version by the Max/Alec shippers contradicts with what has been said in the DVD audio-commentary and the story, which has been told in the official tie-in books to the series in which the virus gets cured and Max and Logan come together again. The creators have confirmed that Alec was indeed brought into Season 2 as a potential love interest for Max and rival to Logan; however, the way that season two developed, they had more of a love-hate sibling relationship. Then the show was canceled.
☀To all fans of Dark Angel and especially the Max/Alec shippers: if it is really true that TPTB of Dark Angel thought about a storyline during season 3, which brings Max and Alec together as a love couple, then please provide a link to the source in which TPTB confirm that this planned storyline actually still existed at the end of season 2.
There are several places on the Internet where Max/Alec shippers talk about this storyline but where is the proof for its existence?
If it is not true, then Alec isn't a pending love interest for Max, which means that the Biographical Information needs to be edited accordingly and Max as pending love interest removed.
